IAG Commercial finalized a property purchase on behalf of United Association of Plumbers & Gasfitters Local #15 (Local #15). The property purchased is located at 8625 Monticello Lane North, Maple Grove and was closed on September 30, 2020. The building is a 90,691 square foot industrial/office building that was purchased for $5.45M. The Union will relocate facilities from downtown Mpls. and from Dunwoody Institute, who is in need of expansion space.
Local #15 hired IAG Commercial to provide site selection, acquisition and construction project management on the $12M+ in improvements on the building. IAG has teamed with The Alliiance for architectural services, Dunham and Associates for HVAC design and JE Dunn for construction management. Jeff LaFavre and Michael Sedley represented Local #15 in the site selection/acquisition and Michael Sedley will lead the construction team. Jon Yanta of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller.
